Prayer Laborers,
This month please pray for goals in our key operation areas as we begin the second half of the school year. Thank you for interceding on behalf of Courage Youth staff, schools and, most importantly, Courage Youth learners.
~ Courage Youth Lead Team, Life Coaches & Management Committee
Class and Club
Goal. Increase participation across schools to 1,500 Courage Youth members.
Progress. Halfway through the year we currently have 837 members.
Request. Heavenly Father, guide us in all that we do. Let Your Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Grant us wisdom, discernment, and understanding as we teach and learn. May every decision we make be led by You, and may Your truth transform every heart. In Jesus' name.
Careers
Goal. All Courage Youth members complete Career Liftoff Interest Inventory (Clii) assessments by the end of the year.
Progress. All backlog reports were sent by the end of 2nd term.
Request. That all Grade 9 learners complete their Clii assessments.
Compassion
Goal. Establishment of parent support for Courage Youth.
Progress. Monthly parents meetings continue.
Request. Pray for improvement in Courage youth parent-child relationships.
Organization
Goal. Have soft-launches of the Courage Youth program in three new high schools by the end of 2026.
Progress.
We have expanded our programme to Thutho Mfundo Community Center in the East Rand, where we currently have 22 Courage Youth learners enrolled.
We have appointments with the principals of two prospect high schools scheduled in Term 3 (begins July 21).
Requests.
God's favor to launch Courage Youth programs at the remaining two schools.
Wisdom as we launch three new Life Coaches in the apprentice program beginning this term.
