Prayer Requests - October 2026

Prayer Laborers,

This month please pray for Courage Youth by our ministry platforms.  Thank you for interceding on behalf of Courage Youth staff, schools and, most importantly, Courage Youth learners.

Class and Clubs

Goal.  To see lives transformed at Thuto-Mfundo college through Courage Youth with learners discovering hope, purpose, and a new direction for their lives. John 10:10

Recall, Thuto-Mfundo is a program for learners who have aged or behaved out of traditional high school.

Progress.  We thank God for the progress at Thuto-Mfundo. The college has embraced the programme, and we currently have 44 learners. Our oldest learner is 29 years old and in Grade 9. We thank God for the opportunity to reach each learner, regardless of their circumstances or stage in life. 1 Cor 3:6

Petition.  Holy Spirit of the living God help us, as we:

• Pray that the teachings will bring genuine transformation in the learners’ lives.

• Pray that their hearts will turn to the Lord and that the Holy Spirit will work through us.

• Pray that we will help them carve a different path and make responsible choices.

• Pray for wisdom, courage and discernment as we serve them.  Romans 12:2

• Pray for dedicated space for the Courage Youth program.

Compassion

Goal.  Growth in parents' involvement in CYSA program.

Progress.  Parents are growing in appreciation of the impact of Courage Youth in their children's lives.

Petition.  Parents currently engaged to grow as ambassadors and extra help for Courage Youth programs.

Careers

Goal.  To do Career Liftoff Interest Inventory (CLii) assessment for all CY members. 

Progress.  Some schools have reached their goal of assessing their grade 9 and grade 12 learners.

Petition.  For all sites to achieve their goals set for Clii assessment for 2026.

Organization

Goal.  Expansion to three new schools by the end of 2026.

Progress.  We have started talks with two schools and are waiting for a meeting with a third school.

Petition.  God's favor with the three new schools’ Management Committees.
