October Prayer Requests

Prayer Laborers,

This month please pray for progress toward 2025 goals.

Thank you for interceding on behalf of Courage Youth staff, platforms and, most importantly, Courage Youth learners.

Your prayers make a difference in the lives of these people!

Class and Club:  Tumi Tshabalala

• Goal: Courage Club Members:  1,625.  Build safe space for learners.

• Progress: Members to date:  1,158.  Learners are attending clubs, engaging lessons, and building relationships.

• Prayer Request: Pray for growth in numbers, deeper impact, and stronger Life Coach - learner connections.  

Compassion:  Chris Mokhachane

• Goal: For the successful hosting of CYSA (CourageYouth South Africa) Camp 2025.

• Progress: Parents and learners are working diligently to meet the end of September payment deadline.

• Prayer Request: We trust God for a fruitful and successful CYSA Camp 2025.

Careers:  Mpumi Mthembu

• Goal: To complete the Clii (Career Liftoff Interest Inventory) assessments for all Grade 12, Grade 9, and Courage Youth learners.

• Progress: We are grateful to God that only one school remains for Grade 12, while several schools have completed their Grade 9 assessments and have begun with the other grades.

• Prayer Request: Please join us in prayer that we may reach our goal of completing all Clii assessments for every Courage Youth learner.

Organization:  Chris Mokhachane

• Goal: To begin expanding the Courage Youth South Africa program elsewhere in Gauteng Province in 2026. For information about the province:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gauteng 

• Progress: Through word of mouth, especially from parents, Courage Youth is being requested by other schools.

• Prayer Request: We ask for God’s favor and open doors to grow the CYSA footprint in Gauteng from 2026 onwards.
