OCTOBER Prayer Requests

Prayer Laborers,

This month please pray for progress toward 2024 goals. Thank you for interceding on behalf of Courage Youth staff, platforms and, most importantly, Courage Youth learners.

1. Organization

Goal

• Staff to grow as a team

Progress

• Staff made personal resolutions to be better team players

Request

• Pray for spiritual maturity among staff members

2. Class and Club

Goal

• 1750 Courage Youth members

Progress

• We currently have 922 members

Request 

• Pray for the ability to retain both new members and old members in this journey of transformation

3. Compassion

Goal

• All Courage members participate in Discovery Group Discipleship 

Progress 

• 287 learners have participated in Discovery Group Discipleship

Request

• May our learners grow to love and fear God

4. Careers 

Goal 1

• All matriculants (grade 12) exposed to Job Readiness Training and Life After Matric programs 

Progress

• All of our grade 12 members have participated in Job Readiness Training and Life After Matric programs 

Request

• Pray for positive response for learners who have applied for tertiary education and financial institutions

Goal 2

• All Courage Youth grade 9 learners complete Career Liftoff Interest inventory (CLii) by end of October 

Progress

• Completed two schools grade 9,  and will be completing grades 10 and 11 in two schools within the second week of the final term

Request

• For God to help us to  complete all the grade 8 and grade 11 in all our Courage Youth schools
