Prayer Requests - August 2026

Prayer Laborers,

This month please pray for Courage Youth by our school sites.  Thank you for interceding on behalf of Courage Youth staff, schools and, most importantly, Courage Youth learners.

Mafori Mphahlele High School

Praise.  We thank God for the unity and strong relationship within the Mafori team as we continue empowering learners with life skills and spiritual values.  Acts 1:8 

Petition.  We pray that God will strengthen our relationship with both learners and teachers, enabling us to serve and impact the school community effectively.  Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 

Orlando High School

Praise.  We thank God for His protection, provision, mercy, and faithfulness over our school, learners, educators, support staff, and parents. We praise Him for His continued guidance and for allowing us to teach and learn in a safe environment.  Psalm 107:1

Petition.  We pray that God will grant wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to our learners and teachers. May He protect everyone on the school premises, strengthen educators with patience, and help learners grow in discipline, respect, and excellence. We also pray for peace, unity, and God's favour over the entire school community.  James 1:5

Letsibogo School of Specialization

Praise.  We thank God for bringing all our learners back safely after the June holidays.  Psalm 91:1–2

Petition.  We pray that God will encourage learners who did not perform well academically. May He give them courage, renewed hope, and determination to work harder this term. Matthew 14:27, 2 Timothy 2:15

Kwa-Ntsikana Junior High School

Praise.  We thank God for bringing everyone back safely after the holidays.  Proverbs 18:10

Petition.  We pray for safety, peace, and good mental health for everyone at the school. May God protect learners and staff from harm, violence, and bullying, and bring relief from anxiety, stress, and depression while granting strength and emotional stability.  Psalm 34:17

Selelekela Secondary School

Praise.  We thank God that, through Courage Youth, learners have become supportive of one another and are able to work together towards a common goal.  Isaiah 25:1

Petition.  We pray for learners who did not perform as well as they had hoped. May the Lord strengthen them, build resilience within them, and remind them that hope in Him never fails.  Romans 15:13

Bona Comprehensive School

Praise.  We thank God for carrying our learners through the past examination season and for the excellent results they achieved.  James 1:5

Petition.  We pray that God will continue to sustain our learners throughout the rest of the year. May He bless them with good health, clear minds, strength, and confidence in all they do.  Ps 28:7, Jer 30:17

Lofentse Girls High School

Praise.  We thank God for a fruitful planting season and for the opportunity to continue sowing seeds of hope, life skills, and spiritual values into the lives of our learners. We are grateful for His faithfulness and guidance throughout our journey.  1 Corinthians 3:6–7 

Petition.  We pray that God will grant us wisdom, understanding, and guidance so that we may accomplish everything we have planned for this term. May He establish the work of our hands and help us fulfill His purpose with excellence.  Proverbs 16:3, James 1:5
