Prayer Requests - April 2026

Prayer Laborers,

This month please pray for goals in our key operation areas as we begin the second term. Thank you for interceding on behalf of Courage Youth staff, schools and, most importantly, Courage Youth learners. 

Courage Youth Lead Team, Life Coaches & Management Committee

Class & Club 

GOAL.  Our platform goal is to reach 2,000 learners across all sites and to retain 1,000 out of that total.

PROGRESS.  So far, we have 547 new members across all sites, and we have retained 398 of them.

REQUEST.   Lord, help us to reach the full 2,000 learners, and sustain us as we nurture and retain each one. Give us wisdom, perseverance. Thank you for the lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Thank you for divine intervention. 

Compassion

GOAL.  Establishment of “care for caregivers" program for staff members.

PROGRESS.   Group debriefing session scheduled for the month of May 2026. This will be the first session before one-on-one sessions.

REQUEST.  For effective emotional support for CYSA staff members.

Careers

GOAL.  For all Courage youth learners to complete their Clii assessments. 

PROGRESS.  We have completed 300 assessments in Term 1.

REQUEST.  We pray that by next term all Grade 9 and Grade 12  Courage Youth learners will have completed their assessments.

Organization

GOAL.  Growth of Courage Youth program at Thuto Mfundo Community Learning Center.  (School site for learners who have aged out of traditional high school without graduating.)

PROGRESS.  The first meeting with learners was done successfully in Term 1, 2026.

REQUEST.   The effective delivery of the Courage Youth program at the Community Learning Center.
