The purpose of encompassKids is to change the destiny of the kids and youth of South Africa from the current reality of poverty, abuse, addiction, and HIV to one of hope with the expectation for spiritual, emotional, physical, social, academic and economic well-being.

We do this through our two initiatives:

Prayer Laborers, This month please pray for goals in our key operation areas as we begin the second term. Lost Children, Finding their way Home

Here, children receive the care and protection they need before it’s safe to return home, or until a loving home is found. Moments like this — full of joy, celebration, and belonging — are possible because of people like you. Today, millions of children across South Africa are living without one or both parents. Some are doing their best to survive in child-headed households, siblings suddenly carrying adult responsibilities far too soon. One family like this came to Setshabe
