Welcome Andrew to the eK Team

We at encompassKids have some very exciting news to share!  God has blessed and grown our South Africa mission through Setshabelo Family and Child Services (SFCS) and Courage Youth South Africa (CYSA) and has given us the challenge to follow him as these missions continue to grow.

We are very pleased to announce that Andrew Rienstra has joined encompassKids as our Executive Director to help lead and guide our organization as we follow all that God has planned for the vulnerable kids and families of South Africa through CYSA and SFCS. 

Andrew comes to us after spending over a decade with World Renew, including the past four years as a Major Gifts Officer managing a portfolio of major donors, churches, and church networks across the country.

Andrew’s wife is Abigail, and they have a daughter Alana (4) and a son Holden (2).

“I am especially drawn to encompassKids’ commitment to walking alongside children, youth and families through strong local leadership in South Africa.  I have seen firsthand that lasting change happens when communities are equipped and supported over time, not just served in moments of need, and that approach resonates deeply with me.”

Andrew graduated from Calvin College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

He is completing a Master of Business Administration from University of Southern Indiana in 2026.
