September Prayer Requests

Prayer Laborers,

This month please pray by the various roles of the Courage Youth ministry.

Thank you for interceding on behalf of Courage Youth staff, schools and, most importantly, Courage Youth learners. 

~Courage Youth Lead Team, Life Coaches, and Management Committee   

Life coaches work closely with students and form close bonds with them.

Lead Team

• Praise.  We thank the Lord for the growth in learner participation and for the favor of good working relationships with school management across all our sites.

• Petition.  We are asking God to guide us in the successful expansion to more sites, according to His will and timing.

Life Coaches

• Praise.  We are grateful for a fruitful first half of the year. By God's grace, we achieved our site goals and retained many of our old members. We give thanks for His faithfulness.

• Petition.  As we journey through the second half of the year, may we remain in alignment with God’s divine plan. We pray for clarity of mind and spirit as we prepare for Teacher Training with Life Orientation teachers, Annual Planning Meetings (November), Courage Camp (December), and site study skills sessions. May we be of one heart and one mind, impacting our learners positively.

Counsellors

• Praise.  We rejoice in the growth of parent engagement, with 44 parents representing all our sites in the recent meetings. To God be the glory!

• Petition.  We bring before God the many challenges that parents are facing. May He grant us the wisdom, strength, and resources to support them through Evergreen Parenting meetings and counseling.

Admin

• Praise.  We are thankful for the high number of Career Liftoff Interest Inventory (CLii) completions by learners across all sites. Truly, this is the Lord’s doing, and we are grateful.

• Petition.  We pray that the parents of learners who attended Parent Camp will also commit to Evergreen Parenting workshops, that they may be strengthened for the journey of parenting.
